1000 BA RAM TYPE WING DIE COMPRESSION BENDER
The 1000 BA Ram Bender uses a powerful forward thrust cylinder to move a forming die shoe through a pair of hinged gate dies or ‘Wing Dies’ which exert back pressure against the tube as the former moves between them. Hydraulic gate die pressure is fully adjustable to obtain excellent results on various wall thickness. Quality bends are produced without internal mandrels. Former advance is hydraulic, powered by electric motor and hydraulic pump. Bender controls are digital and fully automatic or manual with trailing lead double foot pedal. Optional Dies are solid machined tool steel and heat treated for long lasting service.

  • Automatic Operation : The Program Data Control Board controls all bending functions, both automatic stop and return or manual and stores up to 99 different bend depths. Former advance controlled digitally or by push button on BAS Model or manually by foot pedal and low voltage solenoid actuated hydraulics.
  • Uni-body All Welded Steel Construction heavy tube and plate steel, stress relieved
  • Bend Degree Control via adjustable graduated degree scale used
    on BAS and BL Models.
  • Bends up to 180 Degrees on 5” radius dies. Standard die set configuration permits bending up to 145 degrees.
  • Quick Change Dies carried out without tools in a matter of seconds
  • Die Sets arecomplete with bending die and 2 gate dies (tooling optional)
